A rapidly growing engineering company in the Cayman Islands is looking for an engineering accountant to join its team. This company has a track record of helping with some of the most impressive building projects on the island. It needs a qualified candidate to support its management accounting program.
Qualifications
- A relevant and valid accounting qualification
- A minimum of 2 years experience working in engineering or construction accounting (ideally should be in the industry. However, audit experience in this area is also considered).
- Preferably an extroverted and entrepreneurial personality.
- A genuine appreciation for bringing data and statistics to life
- Excellent capacity to collaborate effectively with operational personnel
- A demonstrated track record of producing KPIs and handling tasks related to project accounting, budgeting, forecasting, job costing, variation analysis, and work in progress.
- A passion for making a difference in the world.
