Kitchen Helper, Canada | Work Visa Sponsorship

Get a work visa sponsorship to work as a kitchen helper or counter attendant in Canada. The food counter attendants are responsible for preparing and serving the meals and cleaning and arranging the kitchen’s workspaces and tools. They operate in various establishments, including cafes, restaurants, hotels, fast-food joints, and cafeterias.

Duties

  • Prepare all the ingredients for the food manually or with equipment.
  • Unpack and place items in freezers and other storage spaces and keep track of the quantities of food consumed.
  • Move clean dishes, flatware, and other goods to service areas and set tables. 
  • Using a dishwasher or by hand, clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans.
  • Clean the kitchen garbage cans and remove the waste.
  • Take orders from consumers; if necessary, you may receive payment for purchased meals.
  • At counters or buffet tables, serve customers.
  • Execute additional tasks to support the kitchen staff and cooks.

Qualifications

  • Must be employed currently
  • At least one year of experience working for a fast-food restaurant (e.g., McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, etc.) since 2020.
  • Minimum of a two-year diploma.
  • An employment certificate (2012 to present)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to deliver first-rate client service
  • Be a great team player.
  • A broad understanding of hospitality management, with the capacity to perform well under pressure and in a fast-paced setting.
  • IELTS and WES/IQAS readiness are advantages.
  • Be open to working in Canada.
