As a live-in caregiver, you will ensure the provision of care that genuinely improves the lives of the individuals you care for. We will ensure that you always have time to care for your clients by adapting the service you can provide to their requirements and preferences, enabling them to live in the setting they like the most – their homes. In-home caregivers stay with the clients for the duration of their specified rota schedule (e.g., 2, 4, or 6 weeks).
You will provide care and company while watching over one individual, or perhaps two, sometimes. Following a person-centered care plan, you will adjust your support to your client’s needs by helping with everyday tasks, providing personal care, or offering assistance in managing disorders like dementia.
The team of care managers and sympathetic employees has a breadth of expertise, knowledge, and experience, guaranteeing you always feel supported. You may have experience as a care assistant or support worker in a home or domiciliary care setting. Or you may have firsthand knowledge of helping a friend or family member. Duties
Your role will entail, but not be restricted to:
- You will be matched with a client based on your abilities and their needs to provide specialized help and company.
- You will typically give your client 10 hours of care per day on average, as per their particular care plan.
- Your own space and privacy will be provided.
- You will manage medical diseases like Parkinson’s, stroke, and dementia
- Also, moving, handling, and helping with personal care activities, including washing, bathing, or using the restroom
- Administering drugs correctly and on time
- Preparing food, cleaning, and seeing that everything runs smoothly in the home, as well as offering assistance with the care of any pets.
