We are searching for candidates with experience in budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, and reporting in a complex organization (commercial or non-profit) to fill our Finance Planning and Strategy Analyst role at The University of Reading. Such is expected to join our team in providing critical analytical information and support to the Finance Business Partners (FBP) to assist the academic schools in delivering effectively on the school and university strategy. Qualifications
- Strong background in management accounting or financial analysis
- Proven experience with the preparation of monthly accounts and the production of complex budgets
- Superb numeric and reporting skills, plus advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly
- A good amount of confidence to question existing processes and proffer improvements to such procedures, as and when necessary
- Demonstrable expertise to be able to provide analytical advice and support to the senior management

- Compensation of between £43,414 – £53,353
