A label manufacturing business with its headquarters in Quebec, Canada, is hiring both domestic and foreign candidates for the position of Finishing Machine Operator. LMIA is available for this role, and the operator will be under the direction of the label manufacturer’s production manager. The successful candidate must be able to run the finishing machine to meet the needs of the customers.
Responsibilities
- Effectively operate the finishing machine to meet production demands
- Set up and adjust the machine as necessary
- Check the control and quality of the label rolls being produced
- Keep your work area well-maintained and clean
- Perform basic maintenance
- Report any problems and make suggestions for changes.
- Perform additional connected tasks.
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a machine finishing operator; prior work experience in the industry is a plus.
- A general understanding of machine operation and label production.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
- Basic reading, writing, hearing, and speaking skills in both English and French
