Junior Product Manager | Remote

Castr is a one-stop SaaS broadcasting platform that helps everyone in the media sector advance their video content. It is searching for a junior product manager to join its team to swiftly scale its product and organization while creating unique new features and increasing the dependability of its systems. You will collaborate closely with our product manager as a junior product manager and support the product management process, from ideation to development and launch of new products. Your responsibilities will include helping our product manager with daily tasks, assisting with product portfolio projects, and fostering strong relationships through collaborating cross-functionally with different corporate divisions.

Duties

  • Product Release Planning: Assist the product manager in creating tactical product release plans, and producing supporting documentation, materials, and artifacts, in collaboration with internal departments (product, marketing, customer experience, sales, etc.).
  • Pre-Release Testing: Working with the engineering and QA teams to design specific user test cases for upcoming releases of new integration products and features. Help with functional testing to ensure that new features and products work as planned and to find bugs before they are released.
  • Customer Launches: Work with the marketing and customer service departments to help the product manager deliver new products to early adopter customers. This involves taking part in or organizing customer demos, getting user feedback, and assisting internal teams with product training.
  • Post-Release Iteration: Lead user discovery meetings to obtain post-release feedback and feature enhancements. Help create a backlog of work items with defined needs by combining comments and feature requests. Review and rank the most critical things in collaboration with other internal teams.

The bottom line is that in this position, you are in charge of ensuring the success of new product launches and producing outstanding results.

Qualifications

  • At least two to three years of experience creating software products.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; succinct and clear verbal and written communication
  • Proven capacity to complete time-sensitive tasks on schedule and with excellent results, as well as proven organizational abilities
  • Ability to accept the challenge of problem-solving via innovation, teamwork, and a positive mindset
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, characterized by a lot of autonomy and self-motivation
  • Natural curiosity and an eagerness to learn new things, whether it’s new technological abilities or comprehending requests explicitly made for clients.
  • Experience developing SAAS (standard SAAS and API-as-a-service) and live streaming software is greatly desired.
