Product Manager | Remote

A tech company is looking for a Web Product Manager. The Web Product Manager will oversee the product roadmap for all of the company’s growth channels. This role will guide business, and user needs through the various stages of product development, such as idea creation, research, planning, and implementation. Ideal candidates should be able to work during the US standard business hours (from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time).

Duties

  • Develop a solid product plan to enhance the platforms that aid marketing’s growth channels.
  • Establish a robust long-term vision in close collaboration with key partners, including marketing leads. 
  • To develop a solid long-term vision, work closely with marketing leads and other essential partners.
  • Create fruitful connections with Marketing, Product, Design, and Engineering teams to advance the marketing vision.
  • Oversee the complete lifespan of features, from conceptualization to technical implementation—coordination with cross-functional stakeholders, designers, developers, and quality assurance.
  • Break down complicated issues into small steps by creating and ranking user stories and epics
  • Lead a cross-functional scrum team by encouraging a creative, collaborative, and structured culture to generate the best results.
  • Analyze product performance and usage to keep your attention on subscription growth and engagement.
  • Ensure cross-team and cross-departmental communication on the product roadmap and needs

Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree
  • Ability to work for 40 hours per week at standard business hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on the US East Coast
  • At least three years of product management experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the entire product development process; technical training or years of experience in the technical side of product development
  • Highly motivated to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and agile workplace.
  • Natural decision-maker and collaborator with the capacity to exert influence through unofficial authority.
  • Proven experience making data-driven judgments
  • Functioning knowledge of an agile/scrum team
  • Ability to feel at ease working remotely with team members in various time zones
  • Be a self-starter with good time management.
  • A distraction-free workspace with a good internet connection is available from home or a nearby co-working space. 
  • Familiarity with the productivity technologies used by the company, such as Harvest for time tracking, Slack, and Google Apps & Hangouts.
  • English language proficiency (spoken and written)
