A recruiting company needs a product manager for its flagship product to be responsible for various crucial business responsibilities. Each day holds a different task as you work in project management, sales, and marketing. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, be able to multitask and thrive in a distributed and small teamwork environment, and have a solution-focused mindset. The Product Manager works daily with customers, support staff, and development teams while reporting directly to the company founder.Â

Duties
Sales
- Respond to sales-related questions from present and potential consumers.
- Perform demos for potential clients many times a week (using Zoom).
- Organize follow-ups from past sales interactions and demos.
Marketing:
- Expand the brand’s current partner program to add new, excellent partners each month.
- This calls for selecting the right groups to contact and then carrying out the outreach.
- Monitor the HelpSpot website’s activity and effectiveness.
- Manage third-party web content providers and help with product positioning on websites.
- Expand the brand’s presence on G2 and Capterra.
Project Management:
- Create and implement a new product roadmap that transforms consumer feedback and market analysis into an effective product strategy.
- Ad-hoc project management for a variety of smaller efforts and projects
Requirements
- At least four years of experience as a project manager or product owner
- Some B2B software experience and management of responsibilities for its adoption and use.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Knowledge of presentations and public speaking.
- Ability to function well in a small distributed team.
- Location within the US.
- Knowledge of HelpSpot or other help desk applications and formal experience in sales or marketing are added advantages.
