Product Owner, United States | Work Visa Sponsorship

A company based in the United States is recruiting a collaborative Product Owner to work with our UX specialists, program and product managers, enterprise architects, and software development teams to deliver new products. Deliverables include a concise and clear set of requirements and user stories. If required and you meet the role qualifications, opportunities for visa sponsorship are available. 

Duties (Team-facing)

  • Oversee product backlog in line with defined strategy and roadmap
  • Carry out user/customer research and document well-translated user requirements for engineering teams
  • Liaise with technical writers to provide thorough and accurate documentation.
  • Ensure precise interpretation of business needs and representation of stakeholders through the entire process
  • Contribute domain knowledge during the acceptance testing procedure
  • Stay updated on best practices and trends in Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodologies 

Duties (User/Customer facing) 

  • Work closely with the User Experience team during usability testing to ensure the right customer-centric product is being built 
  • Resolve issues escalated from the Technical Services team
  • Stay abreast of domain knowledge and industry trends
  • Train internal teams on products and support customer training efforts as needed.
  • Collaborate with the product manager toward understanding and defining the strategic product roadmap

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or healthcare-related discipline. The required Product Owner experience may also suffice.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, development, ownership, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a clinical or healthcare field, especially clinical code sets or healthcare data.
  • Excellent analytical skills, process development, or management competencies.
  • Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
