Solsten needs a UX researcher to work with an outstanding team of product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to develop their platform and products.Â
Duties
- Carry out internal and external research for gaming clients, analyze data, and make research-based recommendations and presentations internal and external gaming teams
- Develop practicable insights and game design recommendations based on research findings and psychological data
- Collaborate with internal and external product teams to continuously improve Solsten products and overall customer experience
- Apply an in-depth understanding of a wide range of UX research methods toward meeting the needs of the product teams in a fast-paced setting
- Refine and absorb large amounts of information and effectively prioritize in light of multiple concurring tasks
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Game Studies, Cognitive Psychology, Anthropology, Human Factors or another relevant discipline, or related work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of applied experience in UX research, with at least two years of applied experience in a game development environment and a good grasp of player psychology.
- Extensive experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and proferring practicable insights and recommendations
- The human-centered mindset with a solid work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Strong writing, communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using qualitative analysis software and working with SaaS products
