A US-based scale-up is rapidly expanding and needs a front-end developer to work from Canada. Ideal candidates are experienced in frameworks, security, architectures, automated testing, and performance and can leverage this to develop SaaS products.
Duties
- Use code to build user-friendly software.
- Work across the development lifecycle – from concept to design, test, release, support to maintenance.
- Gather requirements and translate team input into a functioning application.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Above seven years of front-end and Javascript experience
- Experience with front-end web development like HTML and CSS and working with TypeScript, Vue, React, functional interfaces, and web components.
- Proficiency with tools like Gulp, Webpack, and Grunt, as well as back-end frameworks like Django or Python and REStful APIs for connecting to back-end services
- Back-end development skills, including GraphQL (Apollo) and Node.js.
- Sound understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns, with the ability to develop quality code that follows industry standards.
- Track record of designing and implementing large web applications that are secure and scalable.
- Fast learner, self-starter, and action-oriented with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
