To keep helping seniors keep their independence and stay in the comfort of their own homes, Surework Home Care Solutions is looking for a kind, empathetic and hardworking carer to become part of its team in Victoria, British Columbia.
LMIA sponsorship is provided for foreign workers, however, this is for only those who are already in Canada. Candidates who are already employed, but are searching for extra employment opportunities to help fill their open shifts may also apply.
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship to clients
- Providing personal care assistance, such as bathing, grooming, dressing and other daily activities.
- Preparing and serving healthy meals
- Making sure medications are administered properly and on time.
- Performing simple cleaning and other daily housekeeping tasks
Qualifications
- Hold a diploma or certificate of graduation from a secondary school.
- Although not required, previous experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to effectively speak and understand the English language.
- Must be able to lift and move patients securely and correctly.
