Product Manager, UK | Remote

Purple is seeking an experienced mid-level Product Manager to mold the direction of our established product and prioritize new opportunities. You will be contributing to the success of our flagship product, aimed at helping physical venues to gain actionable insights on their visitors, visitors’ needs, and how their space is used. 

Duties

  • Own the product roadmap, working and reporting directly to our CPO to mature how our product works
  • Work with UX and customer experience (CX) teams to research customer needs and uncover opportunities for new features and improvements on existing ones for better roadmap alignment, profits, and process improvement. 
  • Manage our custom and analytics development backlogs, and collaborate with our CX and Sales teams to boost ROI.
  • Manage product backlog and develop user stories and initial acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with UX and engineering teams to prioritize and validate the next build, and always deliver high-value work
  • Identify and effectively engage product stakeholders
  • Define success metrics for features and monitor expected achievements while gaining an understanding of how we can differentiate ourselves from our competitors

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated product experience working with UX and agile teams in commercial settings
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with product usage metrics tools, like Mixpanel, Pendo, Amplitude, and Google Analytics
  • Experience with user research, product discovery, and hypothesis testing
  • Action-oriented and pragmatic, with a solid commitment to professional development.
  • Experience working on user story backlogs, roadmaps, and epic prioritization
  • Empathy, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Previous experience managing custom development, with a well-balanced focus on profitability, strategic growth, and product maintainability, is an added advantage.
